Earning a Living: What To Do To Make Money?

| MONEY YOU WANT TO EARN! |
Most jobs feel endless and boring, you waste countless hours at dead end tasks. Bosses are bossy! They demand respect and they harness your time using it to fulfill their own visions of success. Day in and day out you do the same job, in an endlessly repetitive cycle. Your time is not your own, you have to stick to schedule that you probably had no control over making. Speaking of the word CONTROL that is exactly what a job takes away from you. (Those of us who are not self employed)

| MONEY YOUR BOSS WANTS TO PAY! |
You work so hard only to survive minimally; you are exhausted, you can't find the time to improve yourself and make positive changes to your lifestyle. You have a dream, something you want to do with your life but there is no guarantee that it will pay the bills so you keep on working at that same old job. Maybe you are too scared to fail, so much so that you have crippled yourself, you are wallowing in stagnation; you have that 9-5 to fall back on so you let your personal dreams die. You do not yet understand that success and failure walk hand in hand, a natural duality found in all aspects of life. Each failure will become a part of your success story as they are the necessary bumps and falls a baby must take while learning to walk.
I understand that my fears of stepping out into the unknown and becoming my own boss has something to do with my mentality. I don't like feeling like a failure, I love being right all the time, starting out from the bottom can be hard on the old ego etc. etc, but these are all meaningless excuses. Still, these are the very reasons why I could remain a worker bee instead of becoming my own boss.

Not Easily Satisfied

Can you ever truly feel satisfied? Could you live contentedly with neither want nor desire for more than what you already have? You know that wanting more than you have can make you unhappy and yet you can't help it, you burn with desire.
But did you ask yourself what exactly it would take to satisfy you completely? What would it take for you to wake up one morning perfectly sated with all life has offered you? If you wrote down everything you want out of life and got them all, then do you think you would be satisfied?
I find that feeling satisfied is not easy and so I'm always trying to figure out why I want so much! I feel like I have been programmed, hardwired somehow, to always want more than I already have, even though deep down I know these things are unnecessary, I still want them. Sometimes I find I only want something because of the way I expect it will make me feel when I have it. So now that I've attached wanting to filling an emotional need, I must try to understand how I feel since feelings are not always known for being rational. If the feeling isn't rational then its safe to conclude that the desire is unnecessary and I can remain satisfied with the status quo.
I'm not easily satisfied but I know that I was conditioned to be that way by the very society that raised me. If you don't know what I'm talking about take a look at the billboard, brands, commercials, Internet or even your cell phone and you'll see what I'm talking about. Advertisements are everywhere!

What is an Attitude?

By Definition Attitude is:
1. manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, especially of the mind: a negative attitude; group attitudes.
2.position or posture of the body appropriate to or expressive of an action, emotion, etc.: a threatening attitude; a relaxed attitude.
I notice that attitude is something people pay close attention to, maybe attitude is something really important in our social interactions. So what's with the attitude? Why does she have an attitude? Why does your attitude stink? Why do you have a negative attitude?
Spending the time to determine the attitude of another person could help you understand them better. In dangerous situations noting the attitude of the other person could save your life. You walk into a room ready to speak to a crowd an you notice everyone is relaxed, smiling and has a welcoming attitude, it makes your job that much easier If you want to be hired your better off exuding a positive, upbeat attitude because rolling your eyes won't help at all.
It's not so hard to see emotions in the actions of a person; your attitude is another way to express yourself. Two issues

Without Knowledge Is There Existence?

With knowledge we have learned to improve human life, to propel us forward from our caveman days. Invention, innovation, cutting edge technology has given us more material wealth than we could possibly every live to enjoy. With knowledge, came the need for education, with education came philosophy, creeds, political systems, ways of life, ways of being ways and ways that you can live.
Humans live off of the knowledge of other human beings, we live within structures that don't really exist outside of our human world. Most of the time, the way you live is determined by where you live, every culture has different rules that are based on passed down traditions. Your culture provides you with structure, culture can tell you who you are and give you purpose in your life if you allow it to. Take your culture and move to another country and you will see similarities and differences between you and your new people.
The biggest example of how I live in a human structured world is the concept of time. I wake up in the morning and there it is staring back at me from the face of the clock, but what are

The Mother's Day Gift

Sometimes being a Mom can make me feel trapped behind bars with no way to escape. My child needs my constant care and attention. My energy becomes depleted in hours while he just keeps going and going from 6 o'clock in the morning to 8 o'clock at night. Not to mention all the middle of the night "mommy I want water" trips that I have to make, the potty training disasters, the tug of will games and all the trimmings that come with the taming of a caveman.
He is as energetic as he is irrational, stubborn but also pliable, intelligent as he is clueless, and his favorite response is either "no" , "nothing" or "mind your business" You never

I Don't Really Care
11:10 AM
by
Roxy
What do I really mean when I say "I don't really care?" . You would think that I could commit, resolve to care or not to care but it doesn't always work that way. So maybe I don't really care means that I care a tiny bit but not enough to call me to action. "I don't really care" might mean that I could care but for some reason or the other have chosen not to, hence my reason for saying "I don't really care."
So what is the meaning of the word "care?"
Care as a noun means to provide what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.
I see all over our society how much we no longer care as a people, every man has to be out for himself in order to survive. We blame life for being hard and uncaring when the truth is life gives us everything we need air, food, earth and sunshine. Humans have the ability to care, to blame life for being harsh is simply using a scapegoat and it takes responsibility away from our humanity.
To Care as a verb is to feel concern or interest; attach importance to something.
"I don't really care" is probably using the verb form of the word care to give life to the phrase. How easy it is for me to dismiss someone or something because I don't care. Turn a blind eye because the subject matters does not directly affect me therefore I have no need to show concern. I may have my part in the "I don't care" generation for now, but I hope to find a way to change that one day.
