Your Opinion Has Nothing To Do With Me!

Opinions are what people think of you, but on what exactly are people basing their opinions? When they look at a you, is it really you that they see or an image of you created by their own perception of life? Believe it or not, opinions that come from other people have nothing to do with you, and everything to do with who they are, people tend to reveal their own inner self when they give their opinions.
Looks are only skin deep, the clothes go over that skin, yet there are so many opinions one could have based on a person's look. Is their skin white or colored; is the hair kinky or straight; can that person afford luxury or are they still shopping in the discount stores; who is wearing the latest fashion or who needs the fashion police; who is skinny or who is fat etc.
You can have an opinion about a person's character, but that opinion may not be the truth. People distort the truth with the story of their own lives, they base opinions on the life and lies that they are living, their opinions are like mirrors into their own souls.
The image of you, the one that you worked hard on all your life to perfect, is not the real you. You are much more than what you choose to show to people, they can never tell you exactly what is on your mind, in your heart and in your soul. Why should what they say about you ever really matter?
We are born to perceive the truth so we know the truth when we hear it spoken. Opinions are not necessarily the truth, if opinions are not the truth then you need not believe in them.

Really Truth Hurts? Or was it the lies you told?

"Speak the truth and speak it ever"....
The truth when spoken has the power to heal, bruise, free, capture, enlightened or confuse. It can hurt you to hear the truth, truth can travel down to your stomach making it clench with inner turmoil, truth can pierce your heart in a fashion I imagine similar to the feeling of an actual knife. Yet truth can heal you in the time it would take to pull that same knife out of your heart.
Most of the time truth is an illusion, something about you only applies under certain circumstances, in a certain country or neighborhood or even while wearing the right outfit. Maybe you are who you are because other people make your decisions, your truth depends on the approval of everyone except you!
Words are symbols, either you fit the description or you don't, but you have to remember that symbols are only a representation of reality. And what is reality except what we decide it to be? What you decide is true, is only true because you choose to believe.
Truth can be cruel if you listen with one ear but delightful if you learn to listen with another. Truth becomes good or bad based on the person listening or seeing and judging. Truth will always be true, if it ever stops being true then it never was the truth in the first place.
Lies are not exactly easy to tell, truths are not easy to cover up. Most of us end up blending truth and lie together walking around only half living, too afraid to face the whole truth of self, soul, love and life. Most of us are so used to the burden that we can no longer feel all the lies that weigh us down. We walk around sad, angry, depressed, afraid and incapable of shining the way each and every one of us were meant to because we can no longer see the truth, because we think the truth is truly what hurts.

The 3rd Year; I Love You JoJo!!!

It could have been yesterday that I gave birth to you, the time has flown right by me. 3 years ago today you were only two days old happiest when snuggled right next to my heartbeat or getting your fill of breast milk. Now you are a walking, talking, happy, smiling, energetic powerhouse, when you aren't around I feel the empty space in my heart that waits for your return. You are that light at the end of the tunnel, the one that can lead me to heaven if I am unafraid and remain steadfast in my resolve to follow you to all the places you will lead. Because your heart is pure, you can teach mine to be the same. I will teach you how to live in this world but you will teach me how to live without it for you are happy no matter what the circumstances.
We believe the more we know about this life the better of we will be; You do not understand life yet you instinctively know that life is meant to be enjoyed, you live to smile, laugh and play, you know how to make yourself happy; You make me wonder," Is there more to life than doing what makes you happy?"
You are a mirror, a reflection of everything I taught you, everything the outside has taught you is now inside of you. Your world is different from the one in which I grew up, technology is bursting out of every aspect of your life between smartphones, smart toys and smart television you are learning at a paste far ahead of your age.
Love and heartache walks hand in hand, the risk we all take when we open up our hearts, the reason why most would rather leave it closed. I will never choose to stop loving you Jojo, it would mean that I do not love myself. You are and will always be a big part of me, my baby, my child, my firstborn son.

Here is one man's perspective on the cheating heart of a Woman A man comes home from work to find out his woman has been stepping out on him in the pursuit of nightly pleasures...he sits down at work thinking about what he seen the night before as his mind begins to go crazy...you are probably wondering what lead up to these two scenarios...one represents her way of finding a solution while the other represents a man thinking over his problem...sometimes we are blind to what causes problems in our relations with each other...In this situation a woman cheats on her husband because of problems in their marriage so she goes outside of it to find a solution (do you think this is a good course of action?)...believe it or not many do step out of their relationships thinking cheating solves the problem...most would say she is this or she is that but do we really know the underlying cause of this problematic effect of cheating? There are a few reasons why a woman would do such a thing...but I will explain very briefly why men cheat...simply put most men cheat for the thrill and to add to his numbers (the more women you have the more respected and envied amongst other men you are)...we have a conquering nature about us...now back to her...a woman would cheat because of a lack of attention, security, affection, finance, good sex, etc,etc and etc. Those are just a few examples...to the guy trying to figure out why she cheated and why it happened...it is a lot to think about especially if you live with her...first try to understand what went wrong...think back to your actions or what you could have done better...we tend to ignore subtle signs that our women send us on a daily basis...some of them are more verbal than others. But being our natural selves (visual creatures) we do not fully operate on a verbal level with our women...YES! she is more verbal and in-tuned with her feelings than we are...be aware though that just as much as she is verbal she is also prone to be very non-verbal...so trying to figure her out by using visual clues |

What Did I Expect From Money, Happiness?
7:42 PM
by
Roxy
At any given moment there are a million things that I could find to want from this life, in this life and for my life. Everywhere I turn there are sparkly, shiny objects that distract me from my goals, lofty though they may seem sometimes they are in fact attainable if only I can discern the truth. One day I will learn to look with my blinders off; I will know instantly what is real and what is all a beautiful yet wholly misleading illusion.
In my time I will constantly struggle with the question of whether money is inherently evil or if like everything else human beings touch, money is corrupt because the soul of the possessor of such wealth is they themselves corrupted. Is money evil or are we the ones guilty of evil? One thing for sure, it is just a simple peace of paper, the value we place on money is the value we place on material wealth. What good would it be to gain the whole world: the houses, cars, jewelry, status and privilege if you have to lose your soul in the process? What good is all the material gain if you destroy the souls of other individuals, making them yearn for things that are not necessary, setting impossible standards for them to achieve?
Even the Holiest of hearts are guilty of desire, wanting is a human flaw. We want more than we can understand, we want what the Jone's possess, we want love, we want happiness, we want to live happily ever after. What you desire will bear fruit one day, you will indeed get what you want. If your desires are heaven sent, then your soul will one day ascend, if your desires are earthbound, made out of flesh and blood, then you will continue to sink into the hell here on earth that you have made for yourself.
You were born with everything you need to survive, to live and to thrive, perhaps you were told otherwise, someone taught you a different lesson, led you astray without you ever fully realizing that you are walking down the wrong path. Opening up your mind to the possibility that you do not know everything, that you must question all that you have been is quite scary. Who wants to think or believe that the life they have been living is not an authentic life? Your ego will make it difficult for you to begin your journey because ego loves power. Let the mind rest, let your heart speak for you instead, one day you may find your true purpose in this life.

Can we forgive, if we can't forget?

Forgive those who sin against us as we would forgive ourselves
The concept sounds pretty simple, forgive others the same way you forgive yourself. Of course there is a big aspect of forgiveness that we can't seem to overlook, the fact that we can't really wipe our memories clean. Time can heal all wounds, because time allows you to fill up that space with more memories, it pushes the painful memory to the back of your mind, somewhere in the dark recesses. But all it takes is one simple smell, thought, or familiar face, and your right back where you started down memory lane.
Do we ever really forgive ourselves for making the mistakes that we make? Do we forgive ourselves for the wrong that we have done to others, both on purpose or by accident? We know we are only human; not perfect therefore full of mistakes but sometimes we cannot stop reliving these mistakes. So how do you forgive yourself when you cannot forget the wrong you have done?

Pride refers to an inflated sense of one's personal status or accomplishments, often used synonymously with hubris
Pride is indeed attached to forgiveness. If I am so full of pride that I am attached to whatever self portrayed image, whatever name I made for myself, that I feel as if no one should do me any wrong then how can I forgive others? Show me a person full of pride, and you have shown me a an unforgiving heart. We are all humans therefore prone to mistakes. We will all be wronged by someone; we will all wrong someone else, let go of pride and let the healing begin.
