The Real Me Is Truth and Love

Loving me is not any easy thing, for I  have never made it easy for you  Yet You do love me for seemingly no reason at all.  You put up with my all my crazy moods, you put up with my rage, you cling to me despite everything I have ever done to push you away.  You give me love.

My life was not one I wanted to share with You, I was too hurt, too scared too tired ; alone so long in this world that I wanted to remain in the shell I had built to surround myself in protection.  In distancing myself from the pain, I managed to distance myself from the feelings that reside deep within my heart and still You give me love.

I denied hurt therefore I denied love, and by extension You and any hope of ever truly being happy.    You took the time to take the road less traveled, the trail where the thorns were thicker, and the forest so dense, you thought you would never find the clearing.  Still, you give me love.  My brothers patience is a great gift you can give to your woman, it is truly a virtue among men.

You found me when I was lost. You bring me light, truth, joy and passion. You give me Love.

I knew the easiest way for me to get from point A to point B was to walk a straight line.  But I knew that I could skip a step or two, fast forward my life to the good part, rush into things before I was ready.  I would learn this way stumbling blindly in the dark, unschooled in the ways of the heart, clueless about the intoxication of a fabricated reality, a dream of the planet, a shiny plastic, glittery world where we are all forever young because nobody is ready to die.

I hate to die, but I need to, I hate to let go but it is the only way I can learn from my mistake.  I need to  learn from my mistake so I can grow, I need to grow in vigilance so I will never make the same mistake again.

To die is to live again, a beautiful phoenix risen from the ashes of a different me. I must learn to give life and  yet be able to administer the deadly blow.  I must learn to wheel death like a sword slicing through the physic wastelands, slashing anything unwanted, unwarranted, unnecessary to the peace and fulfillment of soul and self.

Ever the charismatic president, Obama walks into a joint session of congress last night, smiling, waving, hugging and laughing, time for the 2012 State of the Union Address.

Confession:  I found it amazing that in less that 5 minutes President Obama not only managed to praise the War efforts he originally opposed, but also to scold Congress for not being a team player just like the Army.

Anyone observing a baby or younger child can probably come to the conclusion that People are not born with Egos.  Babies desire eating, drinking, warmth, comfort, they demand immediate gratification, they are ruled by pleasure, they demand satisfaction regardless of the consequences, they want it and they want it right now!  These most primitive urges Freud called the "Id".

Babies can get away with anything, they don't know how the world works, that is where our parents come in.  Parents have to become ambassadors between their children's Id and what is reality; helping them to understand that satisfaction cannot always be achieved under the immediate circumstances.  Once a child begins to understand how the world works, his self development begins, in other words the child begins to develop an ego.

With the formation of the ego, the individual becomes a self, instead of an amalgamation of urges and needs that are specific to babies.  The

Everything you know about yourself, you learned about yourself.  You define yourself based on words  taught to you by other people in your life.  You are right now, exactly who you define yourself to be, based on what you know about this life.

You can chose to define yourself based on words that existed before you were born or you can understand that your true self is beyond any word in the human vocabulary. 

Agreed: In our world today we should be free to be whoever we want to be.

Question: Are we overexposing our children to adult sexuality?


Heterosexuals, Homosexuals, Bisexuals,  'et alia' where did our sense of decency go?



It has been hard not to see our agendas flashing brightly in neon lights, so boldly do they crash against the brick wall  that is the traditional old world.  We have busted down these walls, we have made our voices heard.  No man on earth can stop us, none can judge us, we are all humans and we deserve happiness with whoever.
