The Real Me Is Truth and Love

As with every other word in our colorful language, Loyalty can be taken for granted, used passively where it should be used actively; Loyalty can even be completely misinterpreted. Loyalty is a word that requires constant action. To be faithful is to be loyal, to be loyal means you are devoted to that person, cause, group, family, country.

Just saying that you are loyal, does not make you so, actions speak louder than words. We lie to ourselves about who we really are, no one wants to be disloyal so we tell ourselves we are loyal without actually analyzing what the word really represents.

Hypocrites walk among us, but the hypocrite also lives inside of all of us. When we are speaking from the heart, it is simpler to be loyal, it is easier for your heart to remain devoted and faithful. When you speak from your ego, it is possible to override your heart, you split yourself, you appear hypocritical, you become disloyal by virtue of not following your heart's true desires and remaining true to your own convictions.

If you are loyal, I will know not by the words you shout from the highest mountaintop, but by your constant vigilance in your faithfulness.

Loyalty requires honesty.
