Why go for more after already having six young children from two previous IVF sessions?
Now Nadya Suleman is a single mom of 14 children with bills to pay and children to raise.
If a woman had children the natural way, what are the chances of her ending up with 8 three year old at the same time? Doctors have intervened in our natural fertilization processes and Nadya Suleman is clearly a side effect. A reason to pause and think about what it truly means to openly defy nature and put your fate in the hands of Doctors you pay to get you pregnant.
We can blame Octomom, but we can also certainly blame the doctor who did the procedure can't we?
Dr. Michael Kamrava was expelled from American Society for Reproductive Medicine in October 2009.
Given the times I'm tempted to say that this was a Media stunt that backfired on "Octomom"
She definitely got her ten minutes of fame and them some, but now she regrets having fourteen children?
But I ask, would seven or eight children have been better if only two embryos were viable? Why would any woman in her right mind purposely orchestrate Single Motherhood with six plus children in tow?
Is there really a need for In Vitro fertilization in our society? Many would argue that it is the only way that they could ever possibly have a baby. The problem with the IVF does not lie in the procedure itself, it is inherent to the people who go for the procedures and the doctors who perform them. You see, human beings when given a chance, will take things overboard, push it to the limit, we want to prove we can do anything and we don't often stop to think of all the consequences hence we have Octomom.
